Localization of the Increased Ventricular Repolarization Gradients during Left Ventricular Epicardia

    Background: Recent studies highlighted the benefits of biventricular pacing for patients with congestive heart failure, but latest studies suggested that epicardial pacing might lead to a prominent increase in dispersion of ventricular repolarization (DVR), which may be linked to the reported sudden death in patients with biventricular pacing.
